Clorinda Kitty (Bland) Simpson

Mrs. Clorinda Gay "Kitty" Simpson age 61 of Salem passed away Sunday, September 29 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Simpson was born May 2, 1952 in Williamson, West Virginia the daughter of Lindon Douglas and Joan Crawford Bland. She was a former nurse's aid for Clark Memorial Hospital and a member of Canton Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband: Dennis R. Simpson. They were married September 11, 1996. She is also survived by a daughter: Heather Joann Bland of New Albany, three step-daughters: Linda Jo Howard and Marti Miller both of Salem and Denise McNew of Pekin, and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Deborah Boggs.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. VIsitation will be Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
