Cheyenne Renee (Deaton) Tye

Mrs. Cheyenne R. Deaton Tye age 64 of Salem passed away Saturday, October 11 at her home.
Mrs. Tye was born July 23, 1950 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Ernest and Wanda Jane Hague Deaton. She was a lifelong resident of Salem. She was an active member of Westview Christian Church and member of the Circle of Love. She was a Salem High School graduate, class of 1968. She was past Madame President of Eagles Club Auxiliary Aire #3516 and a former employee of Child Craft Industries.
She is survived by her husband: Darrell Tye. They were married April 25, 1970. She is also survived by a son: Darren Tye (Melisa) of West Baden, Indiana, a daughter: Renee Lewis (Sam) of Salem, two brothers: Rodney Deaton (Rita) and Michael Deaton (Diane) both of Salem and five grandchildren: Corbin, Molly and Cassius Tye and Shahanna and Malachi Lewis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
