Mr. Charles David Schultz age 79 of Campbellsburg passed away Saturday, January 5 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Schultz was born December 29, 1933 in Bloomington, Illinois the son of James and Beatrice Harward Schultz. He was a retired employee of Childcraft and a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church, American Legion and VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ramona Hamilton Schultz in 2005 and his parents. He is survived by a son: David Schultz (Vickie) of Salem, a step-son: Howard Collier of Shelbyville, Tennessee, four daughters: Sherry Turner (Rodney Ratliff) and Marla Smith (Donald) both of Salem, Sharon Wingler (Paul Farler) of Campbellsburg and Bobbi Hardwick (Trent) of Bedford, Indiana, a brother: James Schultz Jr. of Cathedral City, California, three sisters: Ellen Long of Deer Creek, Illinois, Blanche Hauptan of Bloomington, Illinois and Jynn Zook of Normal, Illinois, 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Campbellsburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
