Charlene “Kay” Brown, age 68 of Campbellsburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at U of L Hospital.

Ms. Brown was born January 23, 1956 in Salem, the daughter of Robert and Norma Witt White. She attended Mill Creek Baptist Church. Kay loved her dogs as her kids, crafts and crocheting and riding her motorcycle. She rescued many animals. She was an employee of Dollar General. She retired from Jean’s in 2018 after 20+ years. 

Ms. Brown is survived by her sisters, Sheila Tatlock (Rick) of Salem and Carla Lewandowski (Vince) of Salem. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Tawny Botorff (Shawn) and Becki Routson (John), Vincent Lewandowski, Jason White (Casey), Ken Hawes, Chase Lewandowski, Chance Lewandowski and Jessie White (Anna).

Ms. Brown is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles White.

Services will be held on Friday, October 4, at 11:00 A.M at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00-8:00P.M, and on Friday morning from 9:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
