Cathy Jane Onsager

Mrs. Cathy Jane Onsager, age 70, of Inverness, Florida, passed away Saturday, November 25 at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital.

Cathy was born September 19, 1953, in New Albany, Indiana, the daughter of Dow L. and Juanita I. Patton Robinson.  She was a retired Nurse and Nursing Instructor for Galen College in Louisville.   She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  She was also a member of VFW, American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Cathy is survived by her husband:  Donald “Donnie” Onsager.  They were married October 27, 2001.  She is also survived by a daughter:  Faith Reynolds (Ben) of Campbellsburg, a step-son:  Jessie Kio (Penny) of Salem, a sister:  Shirley Nale of New Albany, and a step-granddaughter:  Laureen Onsager.  She was preceded in death by a brother:  Mark Robinson, two sisters:  Darlene Howell and Francis Willis, a granddaughter:  Emma Gean Reynolds, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5 at 6PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 2-6PM Tuesday.  Cremation will follow with burial at a later date in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Campbellsburg.
