Catherine F (Reynolds) Hardy

Mrs. Catherine F. Hardy age 76 of Salem passed away Thursday, October 16 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
Mrs. Hardy was born February 4, 1938 in Connersville, Indiana the daughter of Gilbert and Ruby Lavon Eskew Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Borden.
Catherine is survived by her husband: Charles Robert Hardy. They were married February 17, 1996. She is also survived by a son: Billy Joe Wible of Omak, Washington, four daughters: Nancy Lavon Kennedy of Washington, Indiana, Kathi Luanne Batman of Salem, Diane Jean Moore of Paoli and Sheila Ann Gregory of Laconia, three step sons: Anthony Wayne Hardy of Orleans, Robert Dale Hardy of Kossuth and James Edward Hardy of Salem, four step daughters: Anna May Roningen of Paoli, Paulette Faye Freedman and Reba Jane Sargent both of Salem and Jennifer Lynn Rippley of Pekin, a sister: Nancy Carol Taylor of Campbellsburg, 31 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: William Arnold McBride, a step-daughter: Patricia Ann Hardy, a brother: Francis “Bud” Reynolds and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
