Carolyn Lee Banks

Carolyn Lee Edwards Banks, age 89, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 10, 2024. 

Carolyn was born on September 22, 1934 in Paoli, Orange County, Indiana. Her parents, Stella Edwards and Norman Edwards, her husband, Herbert Banks and her son, Mark Banks preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Steve (Dawn) Banks, Tanya (Peter) Ballinger, and Scott (Karen) Banks; eight grandchildren, Candice (Brian) Reynolds, Sarah (Brett) Lisher, Carrie (Travis) Wolfe, Samantha (Anson) Gleitz, Christopher (Jessica) Ballinger, Austin (Kayla) Ballinger, Katherine Banks, and Zachary Banks; fourteen great-grandchildren, Brady and Brice Reynolds, Christopher (Ruddy), Ethan, Ryleigh, Rebecca, Natalie, and Gabriel Lisher, Titus and Stella Wolfe, Conor and Vivian Gleitz and Logan and Lucas Ballinger; and a great great granddaughter, Maya Lisher.

Carolyn was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with them all. She was a life long Christian and a member of Westview Christian Church in Campbellsburg. A graduate of Paoli High School, Carolyn was honored as Salutatorian of her class and served as the Orange County Queen. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and DAR.

Brian Reynolds, Anson Gleitz, Brady and Brice Reynolds, Titus Wolfe, Zachary Banks, Austin and Christopher Ballinger will serve as pallbearers.

Services will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 1:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow after the services at Stampers Creek.
