Carolyn Elaine (Moore) Alexander

Mrs Carolyn Alexander, age 78, passed away on December 5, 2021, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.


Carolyn was born July 19, 1943 in Peebles Township, Ohio the daughter of William McKinley and Ella Marie Ball Moore. She was a retired employee of Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Carolyn was a member of One Community Church and Kyana Car Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Danny Gene Alexander, two sons: Richard Alexander and Douglas Alexander, a brother: James H. Moore, a sister: Phyllis Dickerhoff and her parents.

She is survived by two sons: Donald Alexander and his wife, Doris of Clarksville and Danny Alexander and his wife, Marci of Sellersburg, a sister: Barbara Snow of Chattanooga, Tennessee, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 9 at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kays Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
