Carol J. Hinds age 73 of Salem passed away Friday, December 26 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Carol was born February 3, 1941 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Delbert and Mary Gayle Walton Brewer. She was a retired Nurse’s Aid for Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Canton Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons: Michael Wayne Hinds of Salem, Brian Lee Hinds of Santa Cruz, California and Timothy Allen Hinds of Bethlehem, Georgia, eight brothers: Robert Lee, Charles Delbert, Tommy Joe, Bruce Wayne, Steven Scott and Gary Allen Brewer all of Salem, Paul Edward Brewer of Borden, and Roger Morris Brewer of Seymour, four sisters: Mary Sue Hopkins, Barbara Ann Bills and Lois Marie Cauble all of Salem and Peggy Irene Walker of Bloomington, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter: Lisa Carol Hinds.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11AM-time of service.
