Carlos Q Newsome

Mr. Carlos Q. Newsome age 65 of Salem passed away Friday, August 23 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.
Mr. Newsome was born May 14, 1948 in Seco, Kentucky the son of John Q. Newsome and Delphia Mae Barnes Newsome Quillen. He was a former employee of Childcraft.
He is survived by his wife: Edith Cook Newsome. They were married July 17, 1984. He is also survived by three sons: Rusty Newsome, Rodney Woodrow Newsome and Randy Leon Newsome all of Salem, three daughters: Regina Wilson, Carrie Lewis and Jeannie Russell all of Salem, two brothers: Bernard Newsome of Milport and Harvey Meade of French Lick, two sisters: Betty Collier of Salem and Nyoka Brough of Canton, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Henry Newsome.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11AM-time of service.
