Byron L Bowers

Mr. Byron L. Bowers, age 65, of Scottsburg, passed away Sunday, November 8 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Mr. Bowers was born August 19, 1955 in Salem the son of Arley and Elizabeth Clark Bowers. He was retired from the City of Salem Water.

Byron is survived by three sons: Steve Bowers (Monica), Mike Bowers, and Sean Bowers all of Scottsburg, two daughters: Melissa Baker of New Salisbury and Shanda Bowers of Jeffersonville, three brothers: Boyd Bowers of Salem, Ronald Bowers (Cathy) of Livonia, and Larry Bowers of Maybrook, NY, companion: Tonya Witt, numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by a brother: Marvin Bowers and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and Thursday from 11AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
