Bryan Gene Baxter

Mr. Bryan Gene Baxter age 67 of Salem passed away Thursday, October 18 at The Waters of Scottsburg.

Mr. Baxter was born February 5, 1945 in Memphis, Indiana the son of Bryan and Harriett Crumb Baxter.  He was a retired truck driver.  He was a member of Memphis Christian Church and Eagles.  He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran and a member of American Legion and VFW where he was 9th District Commander.

He is survived by his companion:  Sue Deaton of Salem, a son:  Paul Bryan Baxter of Del City, Oklahoma, a brother:  Joseph Collingwood of Sellersburg, and one grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother:  Charles Edward Baxter.
