Bonnie B (Smith) Davis

Bonnie B. Davis age 88 of Salem passed away Saturday, March 7 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.
Ms. Davis was born October 7, 1926 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of William B. and Olive M. Jackson Smith. She was retired from O.P. Link Handle Company after 60 years as Corporate Secretary/Treasurer. She was a member of Salem First Christian Church.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband: George Melton, two brothers: Jules Smith and Verner Smith, a sister: Audrey Tolbert, her parents and two grandchildren: Hannah Louise Davis and Miles Edward Davis.
She is survived by a son: Brent Davis of Gypsum, Colorado, a daughter: Deanna Davis of Salem, a godson: Kevin Ludwig of Indianapolis, a brother: Gary Smith of Salem, a sister: Ruthie Campbell of Salem, and a grandson: John Spence Davis of Gypsum, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Blue River Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
