Betty Jane (Nuckles) Holstine

Mrs. Betty Jane Holstine age 83 of Salem passed away Tuesday, January 3 at Baptist Health Floyd.
Mrs. Holstine was born April 28, 1933 in Salem the daughter of Ernie Nuckles and Edith Pennington Nuckles. She was an employee of Washington County Welfare Department for over 40 years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Betty married Wilbur Holstine on June 28, 1958 and he survives. She is also survived by a son: Joel Holstine (Connie) of Vallonia, two grandchildren: Tara Holstine Wise (Cody) of Lagrange, Kentucky and Kreigh Holstine (Jessica Tolliver) of Lexington, Kentucky, and two great-grandchildren: Brantley and Saylor Jane Wise. She was preceded in death by a brother: Eugene “Bud” Nuckles and two sisters: Aggie Colglazier and Bonnie Crockett and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Friday from 10AM-time of service.
