Betty L Bradley, 80, of Salem passed away Monday, October 7 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Betty was born October 18, 1943 to Naomi Ramsey Neal and James Harold Neal. She obtained an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from Ivy Tech Community College. She was employed by Child Craft Industries from 1972 to 2004 as Dispatcher for Production Control, Sterling Healthcare from 2007 to 2010 as a Certified Biller and Coder and Jay C Food Stores from 2015 to 2017 as a Deli Clerk and Grocery.
Betty lived in Orleans and Salem, Indiana and loved to travel, country music, art, reading, and bowling until her knee gave out. She said “Do not grieve for me, I have had a full exciting life, hard at times, but I would not change a thing”. She enjoyed dancing to “Trashy Women” by Confederate Railroad on stage with her friends and listened to “Hard Times For An Honest Man” by James House every time she could. She finally got to see Maine and Acadia National Park.
She is survived by three sons: Timothy Neal Bradley, James Charles Bradley, and Danny Lee Bradley, five granddaughters: Megan Bradley Hunter (Ryan), Jessica Bradley Snyder (Brandon), Linzie Bradley Rose (Joshua), Whitney Bradley and Cyrena Jones, nine great-grandchildren: Jeffrey and Jayla Hunter Serra, Reya, and Selina Snyder, Xayden Bradley, Cole Bush, Diesel Rose, and Liam Knight and great great grandchild: Colton Bush.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Naomi Neal, two brothers: William Lee and James Everett, a nephew: Jeffrey Owens and daughter-in-law: Tammy Adamson Bradley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 16 at 6PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-6PM at the funeral home.
