Barbara Sue (Davidson) Coliapolis

Mrs. Barbara Sue Coliapolis age 73 of Salem passed away Thursday, December 4, at her home.

Mrs. Coliapolis was born June 5, 1941 in Salem the daughter of Ossie and Nannie Melton Davidson.  She was a retired employee of Tecumseh and a former employee of Bata Shoe Company and Amaray.  She was also a former telephone operator.

She married Kenneth “Colie” Coliapolis on September 23, 1960 and he preceded her in death on September 9, 1998.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers:  Lee Roy, Ralph Eugene, Woodrow, Troy Dean and Tommy Dwayne Davidson.

She is survived by her daughter:  Kim Coliapolis (Jeff Cress) of Salem, brothers:  Ova Davidson (Doris Atchley), Coy Daniel Davidson (Phyllis) both of Salem and Timmy Ray Davidson of Fredericksburg, two sisters:  Glenda Lue Garrison (Don) and Velita Lynn Brown (Brent) both of Salem, two grandsons:  Zachary and Amos Cress both of Salem, and two great-grandsons:  Logan and Blake Cress both of Salem.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
