Allen Charles Guenthner

Allen Charles Guenthner, age 69, of Salem, Indiana, returned to his Heavenly Father June 27, 2021.

He was born to Joseph Leopold and Helen Marie (Boehm) Guenthner in Louisville, Kentucky on September 29, 1951.

Allen had a passion for music, having sang and played guitar in a band/brotherhood for many decades. He loved camping, hiking, lifting weights and running. Just like his mother, he had a green thumb for plants and flowers, creating an outdoor oasis wherever he lived. He had an amazing ability and passion for building anything, from houses/home additions and garages, all the way down to his grandkids toy box. He was a UofL fan, Go Cards! He was a member at St. John Vianney for many years. Allen retired from Paper Products in Clarksville, Indiana after dedicating over 40 years to the company.

Gone to soon, he left this earth, a wonderful father, brother, uncle, son, life partner, and friend who will forever be loved and truly missed.

Allen was preceded in death by his father and mother. Left to cherish his loving memory, Allen leaves behind his three children, Jason Guenthner and Jennifer (Lopez) Carver of Louisville, Kentucky and Evan Guenthner of Jeffersonville, Indiana, his brother Thomas Guenthner of Louisville, Kentucky and his sister Jeanita Schulten of Indianapolis, Indiana, 5 grandchildren, and his beloved life partner Cindy Marshall of Salem, Indiana, who were all deeply loved.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
