Alice Caroline (Mahuron) Brewer

Mrs. Alice Caroline Mahuron Brewer age 95 of Salem died Tuesday, September 15 at her home.
Mrs. Brewer was born August 31, 1920 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Gilbert and Minnie Pixley Mahuron. She was a homemaker and attended Westview Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Roscoe Brewer, a son: Kenneth Brewer, two brothers: Paul Mahuron and Daniel Mahuron, two sisters: Dora Doane and Mable Bower. She is survived by three daughters: Loretta Buchanan and Bonnie Floyd (Roger) both of Salem and Linda Hoggatt (Dannie) of Pekin, a sister: Gladys Allen of Sellersburg, six grandchildren: Diana Buchanan, Jeffrey Buchanan, Amber Zeigenbein, Brennan Floyd, Tara Klinglesmith, and Darren Hoggatt and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9Am-time of service.
