Alan V Rothbauer

Alan V. Rothbauer, age 71, passed away November 23, 2023, at his home.

Alan was born January 7, 1952, in New Albany, Indiana, the son of Anton and Cora Whitworth Rothbauer. Alan was a maintenance engineer and retired from PC Lumber in Sellersburg, Indiana.

Mr. Rothbauer is survived by his wife, Linda Davidson Rothbauer.  They were married on September 24, 2017. He is also survived by a son, Steven Backus of Pekin, three daughters, Angela Thim (Gary) of Clarksville, Cheyenne Scott (David) of Salem and Melissa Backus of Salem, a brother, Tony Rothbauer Jr. of Lanesville, a sister, Betty Helbig of Jeffersonville. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Patience Fulkerson, Lucas Fulkerson, Matthew Fulkerson, Carley Fulkerson, McKenzie Rothbauer, Brinley Scott, Harlie Scott, Lucas Fisher, Braxton Backus, Ethan Backus, Grayson Backus, Korbin Backus and his great grandchildren: Lilliana, Liam and Allysia.

Mr. Rothbauer is preceded in death by his parents and his son:  Benjamin Rothbauer.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 6:00P.M. at Weathers Funeral Home, visitation will be from 4:00P.M. until the time of service.
